This tutorial goes into depth about the adobe photoshop pen tool. I think this tool might be slightly easier to use compared to other tools because I have used the adobe illustrator pen tool. The pen tool is defined as being useful for “big, sweeping cut-outs” in this video. He also details how you can use the pen tool to make a path to add a vector layer, which can add cool edits to any image. In this specific example, he outlines a sports car with the pen tool and uses it to change the color of the car.

This video goes into detail about the lasso tool. “The lasso tool in Photoshop allows you to manually select specific areas of an image. Select the tool from the toolbar, then click and drag to draw circles around the areas in the photo you want to manipulate. If you want a more accurate outline, use the magnetic lasso tool, which you can choose from the toolbar by clicking and holding on the lasso tool. The magnetic lasso tool will automatically try to trace the edges of the image as you’re moving your mouse pointer around it.” This tool seems similar to the pen tool as well and easy to use, so it will definitely be a tool that I use often!

This video explains how to use the magic wand tool in photoshop. I personally

love the name of this tool so I will definitely be using it. The tool is described as a great tool for when you are dealing with simple images, which is what I will mostly be doing. It also examines the importance of adjusting the tolerances, which goes hand in hand with selecting the background of an image, what the toll is most commonly used for. The tolerances may be difficult to figure out at first, but with practice I'm sure it will become easy.
